i FINALLY got caught up in my homework, so now i need to catch up in my blog!

so, i'm gonna try to remember everything i've done. the first 2 weeks, but still adjusting and spending all my time alone in my room doing homework, it was kind of lonely too, but this week has been amazing and i'm really having a lot of fun. me and jessica watch a movie almost every night, usually starting at 11 or 12, sometimes later. i'm gonna go backwards because i think i'll remember it better that way...

Saturday, September 20

     we were supposed to go garage sale-ing, but we all slept in (we went to bed at about 3). then me and erin were supposed to go on a double date, but my date had to write an essay or something. but it's better that way because we'd already had to change plans because of the football game, but now we can go ice skating like we originally planned. jessica and i watched "the eye" (a scary movie). then me and erin went swimming with the guy she was going to go on the date with and some of his roommates (my date wasn't there, he was either asleep or doing homework, so i still haven't met him. i made broccoli beef that was really yummy then did homework until just now.

Friday, September 19

     on the way back from our class, jessica and i went down a giant inflatable slide that was in the middle of the courtyard. katherine and i went to the women's soccer game and had lots of fun. afterwords was the "fall fest" it was sooooo much fun. there was a dance, but we only danced for like 2 songs. inside they had laser tag and face painting and all sorts of fun stuff. me, jessica, katherine, and tegan did speed dating. we didn't really get the best guys, but it was fun anyway. we stood in a huge line to get pizza then ate it (2 pretty big slices each) while standing in another huge line waiting for cotton candy and snow cones. with us in the line, there was a really funny guy and a really cute guy, so we weren't too disappointed that the line was long, because we talked to them the whole time. the really funny guy gave us the phone number of his friend and told us that we should call him. tegan did (she's way fun and outgoing and crazy) and left a message. we went home and we were gonna go to a party, but by the time we got there it was already over. while we were walking back to our dorms, tegan convinced me to call the same guy that she had and leave another message. i called, but he actually answered, which was a little awkward, but he was actually really funny and nice. erin and ali came home and we took a ton of pictures. then at about 1 we watched what a girl wants which is the best movie ever!!!

Thursday, September 18

     ali, tegan, katherine, lauren, jerica, and i went to the smart cookie to get ice cream, and when we came home erin and her friend shawn were here. tegan, katherine and i decided to go with them to prank some people. it was really funny. what you do is you cut a hole in the bottom of the grocery bag and get inside. you crouch down and tie a knot in the top so it just looks like a big bag of trash. then you sit on someone's porch and knock on their door. when they answer and get confused, you jump up and scare them. first we went to erin's friend's apartment and i was in the bag. it didn't really work, because as soon as she saw the bag she knew what it was and knew erin was behind it. she sent us to her brother though, who was right around the corner. tegan got in the bag and scared him soooo bad. we came back to the dorms and decided to do it to some random guys. the first guys' dorm didn't really work because they were coming home right as katherine was running away (she knocked) and tegan was sitting in the bag. the second didn't work either because no one answered. the third time, they came and saw the bag and they weren't sure what it was, so they kicked it. tegan stood up and they were scared and apologized, it was really funny. erin, jessica and i decided to watch what a girl wants but both of them fell asleep (which is why we watched it again friday). i finished it and loved it so much i didn't mind watching it again.

Wednesday, September 17

     at 3 i have my book of mormon class. i usually leave about a 1/2 hour early because i really don't like being late. i got there 15 minutes early so i decided to do my accounting homework. i sat and did my homework and didn't even think about the fact that no one else was coming in. when i finished my homework, i looked at the clock and it was 15 minutes after class started. it was only then that i remembered that our class had been moved, but by the time that i could've gotten to the other building, it would be half over, so i just went home. it was kind of sad, but really funny.

Tuesday, September 16

     jessica really wanted me to go to a hip hop club with her, but i was really nervous. i told her i wasn't going to go, but she asked me to just walk her there. i was going to only walk her downstairs, so i didn't even put on shoes. i just kept walking and ended up walking al the way to the wilk (at least 1/2 a mile) and doing the club. it was fun, but i just don't have that punk attitude for hip hop. i really want to do ballroom, but i'd have to find a partner first, maybe next year. i'm gonna go to hip hop again, but i'm not very good, i don't know if i want to keep going.

Monday, September 15

     for family night we were gonna play ultimate frisbee, but when we got together we decided to play signs instead. it's a really fun game, but i'm really bad at it. i was in the middle a lot.

Sunday, September 14

     I made a delicious cheesecake which we finished almost immediately. I was called as the assistant compassionate service leader. i'm so excited! it's gonna be really fun. me an katelyn (the leader) and tegan doorbell ditched cookies at two dorms in our ward. tegan is the ward choir director and katherine is a counselor in the relief society. at ward prayer jessica was supposed to talk to one of the counselors in the bishopric to have an interview and get a calling (fhe mom) so katherine, tegan and i waited for her. she apparently didn't see us and went home, and we were there talking to a couple of guys in our ward for almost an hour after ward prayer before we realized jessica was gone. we were walking back to our dorm, when we ran into some guys going tunnel singing and we decided to join them. it was so much fun. we sang until we were all hoarse. tegan was hilarious and kept singing crazy harmonies (choir's gonna be really fun) and one of the guys we were with would occasionally join her singing almost as high as i can. on the way home i ran through the sprinklers and when i saw jessica i gave her a wet hug then said we'd been looking for her and i fell in the creek.
