and then there was light

our dorm room is small, but it's cozy and has more storage than you'd think. one thing that's lacking, however, is electric outlets. there are 2 above ali's bed and 2 under my bed, which i have to crawl among my printer, boxes, etc to get to. this is very difficult when we each have lamps, computers, printers, clocks, phone chargers, etc that need to be plugged in almost at all times, not to mention straighteners and other things that are used on a regular basis. we each have a surge protector, but the cords are short and not everything reaches where they need to go. and even then there's a lot more things to plug in than we have room for. wednesday, with a helpful hint from ali's sister, hilary, we found two more outlets hidden behind the desk. we got so excited that we took pictures and a movie of plugging in the lamp.
