today we had a lot of free time between activities, so i finally unpacked everything and got settled in.
pictures to remember my favorite people: my nephews, niece, parents, siblings, and of course, jara.
definitely my favorite part. i got every cooking appliance and utensil i could think of, all for only $150.
grocery shopping was more confusing than i expected. i'm used to having everything i need to cook whatever i feel like. i made a list of what i thought would be some basic ingredients, but when i actually started shopping i realized it was way to much to buy at once, or at all until i have an entire house to fill with food. so, as you can see, i settled on the staples of cereal, noodles, and lemon juice.
luckily there's a lot of space under the bed, but unfortunately there's not a lot everywhere else, so under the bed is where you can find things like the printer , and miscellaneous food items such as flour and soy sauce that i put in the cart before deciding not to fill the entire kitchen.
in our suite we have three bedrooms along one side of the hall and on the other is our bathroom (2 showers, one of which has a tub, 2 sinks, 2 mirrors, and 1 toilet). and our lovely multi-functional room which serves as a living room...
dining room...
and kitchen.

I'm jealous! Your kitchen is nicer than mine!
So, do you have a meal plan in a cafeteria, or are you cooking _all_ of your meals?
i have $30 byu bucks a week to get stuff at the cafeteria, andy of the restaurants on campus, or the grocery store on campus (more like a 7-11), so i have that to help me survive until i get a little more food to cook with.
So, how are you going to buy groceries? Does your roommate have a car, or are you going to make Noah come down and take you shopping once a week?
i think i'll just make a menu each month and use it to make a shopping list, then by food when i go to salt lake, i'll probably go at least once or twice a month.
(i do know how to spell buy, by the way)
