i should be studying for my 3 tests this weekend, but...

...i figure since i only have exactly 1 month left of college (woohoo!!!) i should catch up on everything i've done this year. so, pretty much i have a zillion pictures, and i'll try to keep the captions as short as possible. so here it is, my college experience in 50 pictures!
these first two should be at the bottom, but it's a pain to move them...the rest are in chronologicalish order though. we decided to drive up to the canyon and watch a scary movie in erin's van. since katherine couldn't come we wore the pants she made us
we were very scared! actually, it wasn't too scary, it was terrifying driving up there and finding a creepy place off the road to park, but once the movie started it wasn't bad, we watched cloverfield, which isn't a bad movie, but not terrifying, what would have been scary is a movie about some creeper in the woods

ramen noodles...at 1 am...typical college students :)we've gone trash-bagging several times...you hide in a trash bag and sit on someone's doorstep while someone else doorbell-ditches them, then pop out at whoever answers the door, very exciting!

rise and shout the cougars are out!

i went to preference, a girl's choice dance, with michael, a boy from my ward
each couple had matching shirts, the theme of the dance was twister, so we decide to each pick a game type thing...we were mr. & mrs. potato head
all the girls, we had a huge group, it was so much fun!
katherine does a very good job of decorating for all the holidays
me and tegan and daniel (our window buddy) decided to make a giant pile of leaves (using brooms as rakes)...

...and jump in them!!!
mitch and i decided to make pumpkin pie, he brought over a 50 pound pumpkin and asked if i could cook it, it took an entire day just to chop, peel, boil, and mash it, then a lot more days to make pies, cookies, bread, etc...i think i still have some in the freezer
best thing EVER!!! we all dressed up like creeps then snuck into girls' rooms, turned off the breaker, played "the twilight zone," and creeped silently up to the girls...we got a ton of screams, and several kicks and slaps, but it was definitely worth it!
one night we decided to go to denny's at 2 am...we do that a lot actually
one night josh (a boy in my ward), and ryan (his friend visiting from back home), and i decided to go on a random adventure in the middle of the night. it started at about midnight and went till about 3 am. there isn't really much to do in the middle of the night, especially since boys and girls aren't allowed in each other's buildings that late, so we just wandered around campus and decided to take pictures, i posted some of the best ones here. this actually deserves a whole story, and the pictures don't really need captions, so i'll just tell the story in between them.

unfortunately, it was the night before the huge rivalry game against utah state, and ryan happened to be wearing red, and we kept taking pictures with the ceran-wrapped statues, so we got approached (and followed, way scary!) by quite a few security guards, but i found that if you go up to them and start cheerfully asking how their evening is going, they don't really get too suspicious of you :)
we walked all the way to the temple, on the way there we saw a deer and and a bum. on the way back we lay down in the middle of the road to try to see shooting stars, i've never seen one in my life, josh and ryan saw like three, but i didn't so we finally gave up and went home.
when we got back, we were sure that we were being chased, so to escape we ran through a construction zone, we had to hop the fence on both ends and sneak past the sleeping construction workers. right after we made it safely through, we were approached by two security guards, who we were sure were going to arrest us, but apparently they'd seen us earlier taking pictures with statues and just talked to us for like 5 minutes about that. they also told us that the creeps following us were probably just some security guards, which we probably should have guessed, but you don't really think rationally in the middle of the night.
we really lucked out, because the guards who were chasing us pulled over and radioed someone after we hid behind a very large pole, which is when we snuck past and ran into some bushes to hide, then found the construction site once we were sure they hadn't followed. i'm sure that made us look extremely suspicious, then we proceeded to illegally climb through a construction zone, just imagine if those security guards on the other side had been radioed by the one following us...oops, well it sure makes a great story!
i'm trying to be taller than ryan, but it's hard seein as he's like twice my height.
annalee and i made thanksgiving dinner, it was super fun and yummy to boot
isn't that just a beautiful plate of food? and it tasted even better than it looked!
we randomly found 5 mice running around the second floor of fugal, it was quite an adventure luring them out of locked rooms and chasing them down, they were white, so we knew they weren't wild, some prank i guess
we found their rightful home and put them away, but i'm pretty sure they just ended up killing them cuz dad wouldn't let me take them home and buy a snake to feed them to
katherine made us matching jammie pants for christmas...they even say our names on them
aren't we just adorable?
this is typically what my desk looks like...piles of homework, junk, books, and of course, chocolate
mmmm...chocolate...they were on sale, a dozen for only $9, how could i pass that up
ali took me to a jazz game one day...very much fun
yay jazz!!!
i thought i'd try to take the gallon challenge...drink 1 gallon of milk in 1 hour...i drank 1/2 a gallon in 1/2 an hour, but then i felt like i was going to die so i had to stop
yay me and ali!! we have lots of super fun times together...on this particular instance we went to her sister's to watch miss america: countdown to the crown, good show
ali introduced me to frazils...happiness in a cup! a little like icees but ten million times better
this a picture of our bathroom...no light for about 3 days, sometimes we'd use a flashlight, sometimes we left the door open, and sometimes we just practiced being blind
the water in our kitchen stopped working for a few days, so we did the dishes in the bathroom
we went to a dance one day...you were supposed to dress up like a decade: i was 50s, of course, tegan chose 80s, and jessica chose todays
i love going to my dad's for the weekend, cuz i get to spend time with noah (my very favoritest brother!) it's great cuz i have no class on thursday and friday and he has no work, so we get to play all day! one of our favorite hobbies of late is sorting legos
pretty much every time i go home noah and i make lemon chicken...aka heaven!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... need i say more?
some of our loverly creations...yay legos!
me and noah have a tradition of eating pickles (has to be claussen) and ice-ed creams (only ben & jerry's) but this time we decided to venture out and have root beer floats...not quite as good
look, i designed and built this all by myself, isn't it cute?
this was just one weekend...we're a little obsessed
a 1 gallon keg of root beer, it was amazing
notice how there's like a million more this time...just a few weeks later
this is my boyfriend trevor...i mean it's my roommate tegan, she decided to do this one day...
ali and i got stars for our room!!! like 250 of them, it's great. i just wish you could see them better
my favorite is the shooting star
it was a little after mira's b-day, a couple days after dad & mira's anniversary, and a few weeks before dad's b-day, so i made them a birthday-versary turtle cheesecake, which was amazing if i may say.
we went to ali's house in idaho falls for the weekend. it was super fun!! mostly we just hung out and did some homework, but it was just great to not be at school. we wen't hot tubbing the first night.

so yeah, that's about it. i love college SO much, i am excited to come back to lincoln (in just 38 days!!!) but i would definitely be much sadder to leave if i didn't know that i'd be living with these amazing girls again next year!!!
